Diamond Jo Is Expanding After Six Months In Operation
The Diamond Jo Casino is expanding after seeing the overwhelming number of customers they are hosting. The $28 million project will include both the gaming area and amenities for non-gamblers.
The Diamond Jo Casino in Worth County, Iowa is launching a major expansion project in response to customer demand and the experience of what they have seen over the six months since opening.
Carrie Tedore, the public relations director for the casino says “Ever since we opened customers were making comments about when we were going to expand and we thought they were just joking.”
The expansion project is budgeted at $28 million and will involve the addition od a 190 seat buffet, a poker room, 11 more table games and 300 more slot machines.
Patron Sherryl Loeffler says “It’’s going to be wonderful because I'’ve heard a lot of people say they can'’t get on the machines.”
The expansion will be further enhanced by the opening of the casinos hotel offering 100 plus rooms to patrons. The hotel will open in November and will significantly increase the casinos ability to host guests.
The expansion to the gaming areas are expected to be completed by April 2007.
